Jesus Christ
Is My Lord and Savior

I did not become a born again Christian until after
marrying my husband in 1979, so I know very well
the life on"both sides" of faith.  And I can tell you
without hesitation that I would never go back to
my former worldly existence for -- well, the world.

Jesus came into my life in answer to my husband's
prayers, and he accepted me as I was -- a sinner.

Caught up in the world of sex, drinking, and wild
partying, I thought I was happy.  But I wasn't.
I was lonely.  I felt adrift.  And so one day I prayed.
I asked God to send someone into my life who would
not only stay with me, but lead me back to Him.
That night I "happened" to drive through the back
gate of Langley AFB (something I never did because
that gate was well out of my way) and I met
Charles Dugas, the man I would later marry.

The ironic thing is, I had actually met Charlie a full
year before when passing through another gate.
That time it had been about to rain and I had jokingly called
out to him that I hoped he had his raincoat.  He laughed,
pulled a Bible out of his back pocket and declared:
"This will keep me dry!"
Good Lord - a Jesus freak.
I just smiled and drove away.

Little did I know what God had in store for me.

We were married six weeks after that second
meeting.  I got saved a good two months later,
and let me tell you, I put Charlie through some
hurtin' before then.  He used to say he never
knew what mood I was going to be in when
he got home.

Well, the Lord helped even me out.  And he
gave me a wonderful son.  Joseph Daniel was
born under grace, ten days after our 1st wedding
anniversary, and he has been a warrior for the
Lord all his life.
Praise Jesus!

So now you know.  I'm not perfect, never was,
never will be — but I am forgiven.  And I have a
place in Heaven waiting for me when I get to the
other side.

Remember, Jesus said: "I am the Way, the Truth
and the Life.  No man can come unto the Father
but by Me."

If you don't have Jesus living in your heart, consider
this -- our time on this world is very short.  The prophecy
foretold in Revelations is quickly coming to the pass,
and the Lord will be coming for His people soon.
Remember -- life is eternal.

Where do YOU want to spend eternity?

Sorry, but you only have 2 choices.
Heaven is one of them.
Hell is the other.
I hope you make the right choice.
