I'm so glad you dropped by and I do hope you enjoy your visit...

Things have settled down a mite over at the Purls 'n Curls. Being summer, lots of
folks took off for vacation. Including Merlene.
Her and her best friend, Lucianne Heddlehoffer,
drove on up to the Big City. That's right!
Richmond, V. A.
Had themselves a time touring the monuments, and the battlefields,
and the White House of the Confederacy.
Meantime, back at home, Delvis got himself into a fishing accident.
Fell off the boat and scared all the fish away.
Including Ol' Bubba, that big ole catfish Cleatis Munroe almost had
hooked.
Well, Cleatis said some stuff, and then Delvis said some stuff...
one thing led to another, and Cleatis ended up whacking Delvis with a paddle.
Wasn't no real damage done though,
considerin' Cleatis smacked him upside the head.
He oughta be able to crawl out of bed in a day or so, but
knowing Delvis,
he'll try to stretch it into a week!

Anyway, they'll be back by the end of the month, so we do hope y'all will
drop on by.
