GENRE: Paranormal Suspense
LOGLINE: Resist if you will, but the voices will be obeyed.

MICHAEL INGRESS’ life has ground to a halt.

He goes through the motions, he’s good at his job, but he’s on the outside looking in; nothing stirs him as it once did. Not since the death of his wife ELIZABETH, one year ago. And his lethargy has his best friend, JEFF EVANS, and Jeff’s fiancé TANYA MORRIS, concerned about him.

Hoping to bring him around, Jeff and Tanya include him in activities with their friends as much as possible, including a seance-theme birthday party Tanya has arranged for one of her friends. Michael attends... and finds himself the target of a wild, paranormal outburst.

Practical by nature, Michael isn’t the sort to believe in the supernatural, and he manages to shake off the unpleasant experience, until the next afternoon and the first odd occurrence. Standing in line in a convenience store, a little voice in his head urges him to buy a lottery ticket. He does... and wins $5,000.

Just a stroke of good luck?

That’s what Michael would like to believe, until it happens again. A voice urges him to enter a drawing for a car. He obeys, and in the end he’s riding home in a shiny new Corvette.

Michael’s coincidence theory starts to fall apart, especially when he continues to “obey” the voices, and good things happen... to him. But slowly, he’s beginning to notice, some of the things the voices urge him to do aren’t exactly innocent. Such as stealing a newspaper from a newsstand, and sabotaging his best friend’s chance at a promotion.

The day the voices tell him to push a man in front of an oncoming bus is the first time Michael refuses. But rather than preventing the man’s death, someone else performs the deed instead.

It doesn’t take Michael long to realize that if he doesn’t obey the voices, someone else will.

And if he doesn’t find a way to stop them, the killing will not end.
